BRCA 1/10th IC Circuit RC Car Racing

The 1/10ic section comprises of two different classes of 1/10th scale nitro powered cars one being 200mm touring shell class and the other being GT220 sports class.also we have two classes of gt8 clasess one being nitro powered  the other being electric  class all the rules for these classes can be found on main brca site.we hold national meetings up and down the country on purpose built tarmac tracks.there is no age limit on drivers so from experts to novice you will find plenty of help at track side to set your car up.all our meetings are held over two days saturday being practic day and sunday being race day if any one is interested in joining us all the details and contact numbers on main site.also you will find a list of all clubs that run nitro cars .we also offer the opportunities to represcent out country at european events.  

Our national meetings are run over two days, with Saturday playing host to open practice for all participants. Sunday is made up of 4 rounds of 4 minute qualifying heats for 220 Nitro and 200 Nitro. GT8 Nitro and GT8 Electric have a 5 minute heat with a 2 minute warm up. Your best time from the heats deciding on which final you will be assigned to with the top 10 times entering the A Final, the next 10 in the B Final and so on.  The finals contain more of an endurance aspect with the A Finals being of 30 minute duration!

Opportunities to represent the country are also available in the form of the annual European Championships and the World Championships which is hosted every other year.

The second edition British Open GP, sponsored by DH Modelsport and Contact RC Tyres, took place over the weekend of the 27th & 28th of August at the Halifax circuit in West Yorkshire. The event would cater for 1/10th 200mm, 1/10th Sports GT, 1/8th GT, 1/8th IC & 1/8th electric with over 80 entries making it an exciting weekend. The race would take a similar structure to that of the popular ENS series with round by round qualifying and a single sided bump up finals format. Along with the race, a social event was hosted on the Saturday evening along with a raffle with prizes donated by the event sponsors. With the area known among racers as having its own climate, rain would make for challenging conditions throughout qualifying.
