The BRCA enjoys a good relationship with the British Motor Museum at Gaydon and Sunday the 15th September saw the Public Relations Officer and the Event Team return there to support the 30th anniversary of the Mazda MX5 Owners Club Car Rally.

The Car Rally is held regularly at the British Motor Museum, a great venue which always attracts a huge following.  Members are encouraged to bring along their cars resulting in large colour coded displays of vehicles through to features on some unique ‘one-off’ models.

The BRCA stand was housed indoors adjacent to the popular Museum Café – guaranteeing a steady flow of visitors, all eager to try their hand at RC racing on our ‘Arrive & Drive’ track.  Our stand also featured a display of different classes of RC cars and promotional literature – all focused  on trying to attract more members to the Association and racers to our sport.

The event was helping to raise funds for the ‘MX5’s Driving Out Cancer’ campaign, something the BRCA was happy to help with.  Funds raised through this campaign go to Cancer Research & SU2C.

Live broadcasts were made during the day highlighting the variety of MX5s on display as well as the variety of stands and shopping options available.

Special thanks to the Mazda MX5 Owners Club for inviting us, to Tom Caren from the British Motor Museum and the BRCA Event Team for their support and hard work.
