The regional series for 10th Off Road based in the East Midlands.

Round 2 - 7th & 8th June 2025 @ A1 Buggy Club (4WD Saturday & 2WD Sunday)

Race Format
2 Rounds of timed practice which are 3 or 4 minutes
4 Rounds of qualifying with the best 2 to count. Heats are 5 minutes
1 Final for all drivers which are all 5 minutes
Classes
Two Wheel Drive (With 2WD Open Class)
Four Wheel Drive (With Short Course & Stadium Truck)
No open class for 4WD
Class Rules
Rules are per BRCA Handbook, Random cell voltage checks can be made before each heat is run, Batteries and motors as per BRCA Handbook.
Batteries + Battery Charging
The charging of LiPo batteries must be in a protective container. I.E a LiPo Charging Bag

Front Tyres
Any commercially available
Rear tyres
Schumacher Mezzo or Proline Pyramid in any compound
Marshalling
Marshalls must wait to be relieved before leaving their designated post to make it easier to identify that all marshals are present.
Championship & Regional Championship Points Scoring System
The series will consist of 5 rounds with the best 3 to count to your overall championship score
Championship points for the 2025 season will be awarded for final position only with one bonus point awarded to the TQ driver. The winner of each Championship will be the driver that has the best 3 from 5 overall scores, that is of the five rounds of each class, your best three scores will go towards your overall Championship position and also your 2025 Formula grade.
Drivers are reminded that although they can race in more than one region they can only score Regional Championship points in one! They must inform the club officials they are scoring points in another region at the time of booking into the meeting. These drivers must be removed from the regional finals and be placed in the open class finals.
Junior Classes:
As with last year there will be two junior classes competing within the main body of both the two and four wheel drive Regional Championships. They are 13 & under, that is 13 & under as of 01 January 2025 and 16 & under, that is 16 & under as of 1st January 2025. The top 3 juniors in each age group at each meeting will be awarded medals. Championship trophies will be awarded at the end of the season for both age groups.

The Mid west 1/10th off road section are pleased to announce the 2025 10th Off Road Regional Series,
Trophies will be awarded at the last round of each championship for the overall series, and for U13, 16 and under, over 40’s and Over 50s

3 Rounds from 5 to count from 2wd, 4wd & Truck (on same day). In the event that a round must be cancelled, this will become 3 from 4 rounds to count.
Licence grades to be awarded against 2wd and 4wd standings only.
Tyres will be -
· Dudley Indoor Schumacher Cactus on the rear axle
· All other meetings Schumacher Mezzo and Ballistic Buggy Mini Spike any compound on the rear axle
· Front tyres are open (but must be commercially available)
· No limit to numbers
The host track must be closed from midnight the Friday before a regional meeting, the track must have significant changes in the layout thereafter.
Format of the day, Practice consisting of 1 x 5 minute session, 4 rounds of qualifying, 1 final (with 3 legs for the A Final). Points to be awarded on Qualifying and Finals.
You must be a BRCA member to race.
Booking in for all rounds will open at the same time.
Round 1 will be in seeded based on results from the 2024 season. Known persons can be seeded outside of this rule if needed, so not to effect persons in lower heats.
Race fees are £12 per class adults. 16 and Under £3
All decisions are made by the host clubs. Any issues at any round contact your club rep.

The BRCA 10th Off-Road Scottish Section invite you to join us for another exciting year of buggy racing in Scotland!
The series is open to drivers of all ages and abilities offers the chance to race against and learn from some of the country’s best drivers. The rounds will be hosted at three of Scotland’s clubs:

The winner of each Championship will be the driver that has the best 4 from 6 overall scores, that is of the six rounds of each class, your best four scores will go towards your overall Championship position and your 2025 Formula grade.
Be aware that digital images may be taken at these events and may be used to promote the Sport or Events.

The permitted REAR tyres this year are:
Compound and quantity used is not restricted and front tyres remain open choice.
Random scrutineering and cell voltage checks can be made before each heat is run, Batteries and motors as per BRCA Handbook.
All marshals must wear high visibility clothing when on the track.
Conduct
Always behave appropriately at all times. There are children and families present at all race meetings including spectators and visitors. We want everyone to enjoy themselves and enjoy the meetings!

BRCA North-East Regional Series 2025
Who are we
Welcome to one of the best summer Electric 1/10th Off Road RC Summer events held in the North East of England. The regional series is held by Five Clubs which are Batley, DCMCC, NEAM, Robin Hood Raceway and Teesside. The surfaces are mostly Astro turf tracks with the exception of Teesside which runs an old school Grass track laid out specifically for the weekend, it brings back many memories for the majority of us as its where we first started.

Entries and booking in
Booking in for all rounds will open 4 weeks before the event, It will remain open for each round until theThursday 10am before each event. It will be closed the Thursday before each event if you want to enter after then it will be classed as a late entry.
Late Entries – If you have missed the entry closing date then fear not. Please contact us at
Booking in on the day will be possible but as with late entries we will not guarantee that you will be seeded in qualifying heats. Payment will be taken at the point of booking in
Fees will at £15 for adults and £7.50 for drivers aged 16 or under on January 1st, 2025. Any additional heats (non-regional) for example truck class will be £7.50
Any pre-booked in driver not actually confirming entry by 9.15am on the day will be deleted from the listing at that time and may be classified as unseeded for the meeting in question plus the following one.
Please ensure when booking in that you have provided the correct transponder numbers. If for any reason you have to change your transponder then make sure you let race control know.
If you provide incorrect transponder numbers, then this could cause you to lose laps at the meeting.

Refunds
If you cancel your entry before booking in is closed then you will be offered a refund. If you cancel your entry after or don't show on the day then No refund will be provided.
Regional Events and Dates
2WD and 4WD- 5 rounds with 3 results to count for the overall championship.
Rear Motor Class and non-regional heats will be running on the same day as the 4WD Regional meeting. You cannot enter in the non-regional heat if you are competing in the regional event on the same day, Rear Motor Cars are excluded and you can run this alongside 4wd regional on the same day.

Reminder - You can only score points in one (1) region per class. If you enter the NE points scoring 2WD or 4WD heats and you appear on any other regions 2WD/4WD points listing, you lose BOTH sets of points for that class (ie: Disqualified from that class across the UK Regionals for 2025 – BRCA Rule).
6.7 Any driver who:- claims, or attempts to claim points, in more than one Regional Series for the same class (2/4WD) in the same year, will be disqualified from all Regional Series points in that year for either/both Classes and will not be awarded a Licence grade from any of the results. Any driver contravening this ruling will be demoted to an F5 Grade for the following year, regardless of current grade or where it is obtained. It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure points are not scored in more than one Region per. Class and must inform organisers accordingly. NOTE: Drivers can elect to compete in 2WD and 4WD in different Regions.
Note –At North East Regional events, 2WD cars (one driven axle) are not allowed in the 4WD Class events (this does not preclude any drive-train breakages during a heat/final).
Timetable
Every effort to be made to commence practise (3-minute slots if possible) commencing at 8.00am to 09.30am. Last call for drivers re booking-in at 9.15am, Drivers briefing 9.45am and Heat One (1) on the line by 10.00am.
Qualifying
FTD or Round Points (Race Director/Regional Rep decision)
Four rounds of qualifying and ONE Final for everyone (Barring the unforeseen happening).
The general rule will be to run qualifying (4 rounds) and drop finals if problems arise.
Control Tyre
There will be a control tyre for the driven axle on 2WD cars and the rear axle of 4WD cars. The choice of tyres for the non-driven axle on 2WD cars and the front axle on 4WD cars will be free
The control tyre for each meeting will be as listed below. There is no restriction on numbers or compound of tyres used.
RHR - Schumacher Mezzo

Rear Motor Class
New for this year we will be running the RM class so gives people chance to drag out their 2wd vintage or Re-release for a bit of racing this is open to any 1/10th off road 2wd buggy running in a rear motor configuration The aim of this class is for people to have a bit of fun racing so it is important that along some humour too.
Tyre choice for the rear axle is
Astro – Schumacher HoneyComb or Wet weather Silver Mezzo
Grass – Schumacher Mezzo
Scrutineering
Currently scrutineering will be on an ad-hoc basis for weight, battery voltage and dimensions. Further guidance will be provided at meetings.
Marshalling
All drivers will marshal the heat directly after theirs on the point marked with their car number. Marshals to wait until they are relieved and indicate to race control if not. Penalties will be given to drivers failing to marshal before the start of the next heat/race.
General marshalling guidance,
· Make sure your hand(s) are free at all times i.e. no using Mobile Phones when Marshalling.
· Watch your area of the track, do not to watch the race, start speaking to someone or play with your phone.
· Marshal as quickly and safely as you can, health and safety is paramount.
· Only race marshals should put the cars back on track and not spectators.
· Marshal the car where they left the track and in the right direction.
· Don’t place the car down in front or on top of another car.
· Remember to bring your own Hi-Vis vests.
Driving Standards
Qualifying
If a faster car comes up behind you, please give them some room to get past. Remember you are qualifying against the clock and not racing people in your heat.
If you are the faster car please be patient and give other drivers time to let you through without them compromising their time or crashing,
All Heats and Finals
Should you cause another car to crash, please wait and give the place back even if you were lapping or the faster car.
When re-joining the track please make sure you look and give way and not affect another cars run. This is basic courtesy and it applies to all drivers.
Should you cut the track accidentally etc, please try and re-join from the same place. If this isn’t possible, please wait the appropriate amount of time making sure you do not to gain an advantage, a small loss would be expected.
Remember to wait on the rostrum until your heat is finished no leaving the rostrum early.
Finals
Drivers rostrum position for all Finals will be decided by Qualifying position. Please enter rostrum in qualification order if possible. Higher grid position has preference and drivers may claim their due position via the referee/race director if needed.
Conduct
Always behave appropriately at all times. There are children and families present at all race meetings including spectators and visitors.
We want everyone to enjoy themselves and enjoy coming to the meetings. Remember Race with Respect!
Trophies
TQ and 1st place in each final (per class) within each Regional Final to receive a trophy. Also trophies for (based on qualifying) to the highest placed Under 13, Under 16 and Veteran class driver.
Series Trophies will be presented at the last round for each class.
Photo’s will be taking of all podium finishers in every final so please bring your car.

The WRCA are pleased to announce the Calendar for the 2025 10th Off Road Regional series.
There are 5 rounds with the best 3 to count to your championship score and your BRCA Formula grade
£10 entry for each class, multiple classes can be entered. Drivers aged 16 and under will be FREE, this is automatically applied at checkout. Simply add all the relevant events to your basket and process them all at once.
Booking in closes at 10pm the Thursday before the event. Please note payment is taken at the time of booking
