The Yorkshire Radio Control Model Car Racing Club, YRCMCRC, is located at West Vale, Halifax in West Yorkshire. The club was founded in 1971 and relocated to its current location, a purpose-built facility, in 1999. The club has an outdoor track of 280m and caters for all on-road classes of 1/5th and 1/8th I.C. together with 1/10th I.C. and electric & also Bikes. Club days are held once a month throughout the year with the summer meetings contributing to a club championship (usually seven rounds with five to count), prizes of which are awarded at the club AGM.
