The Nene was formed over 10 years ago and is based in Northamptonshire not far from the Santa Pod Raceway, the club hosts club, regional, national and international race meetings.

In 2010 the club was awarded the BRCA club of the year title when the club was rebuilt in 6 weeks by its members and friends when it relocated to its current location and is the current BRCA club of the year having won the title again in Oct 2019 for the charity work the club does annually. Currently raised over £25,000 in the last 10 years with £2,500 raised in one day at the annual Astro Attack meeting in late September. Despite the pandemic in 2020 the club raised over £3,400 at its 2020 Astro Attack meeting.

The Nene boasts a 340 meter astroturfed contoured track with floodlights, an ample sized astroturfed car park and the Nenes famous party tent! A undercover pitting area and a covered rostrum which holds 2 0 drivers.

In 2019 we also enhanced our drivers experiance with the additional of non rostrum floodlights and an evening meeting was undertaken.

Electrical hook ups are available onsite for a nominal fee, onsite toilets and camping is available.

Track is open most Sundays and Wednesday evenings throughout the summer for anyone to use and bash , we also open Saturday's too but check our face book pages first before visiting. The track is also open on Saturday's preceding national and club meetings.

The club welcomes drivers of all abilities and all ages. The track suits 1/10, 1/8th and 1/6th Large Scale Off Road vehicles.  We hold an annual charity meeting "The Astro Attack" each September for 1:8 and LS racers which as seen the Nene raise over £20,000 for charities since 2010

The club hosts not only club meetings but is visited by regional, national and international series. In 2012 and 2017 hosted the Large Scale Off Road European Championship.
