COVID GUIDE FOR PICKERING ROUND 4 BRCA LSOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

Face masks are required by all in attendance throughout the whole day. There is only ONE exemption to mask wearing, and that is 6 years old and under are exempt, NO one else. They are to be worn over the nose and mouth. These need to be suitable face masks and they should not be able to slip down during a race. Drivers must wear face masks at all times.

High vis (do not borrow or share with others). You will also require your own gloves for when you are marshalling. These need to be non-disposable and hard wearing so they aren’t easily torn. You have and use your own bottle of hand sanitizer.

Face masks may only be removed for the following:

• Whilst eating or drinking participants may temporarily remove their mask.

• If a participant is in a vehicle, fully enclosed pit tent, caravan or similar alone, or with a member of their household i.e., husband and wife.

THERE ARE NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED

MECHANIC FOR RACERS MUST BE SOMEONE EITHER IN THEIR FAMILY / BUBBLE OR ANOTHER RACER WHO IS BOOKED IN FOR THE EVENT THIS CAN NOT BE SOMEONE VISITING THE EVENT FOR THIS PURPOSE ONLY.

The social aspect of our sport is an important part of the sense of community; however, it is necessary at these times that these be accommodated within the parameters of government restrictions. Currently the rule of 6 applies or 2 households indoors with 30 max outdoors, i.e. not inside friend’s caravans or awnings etc. Social distancing must be exercised as much as possible and again face masks must be worn at all times.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL MEAN YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE MEETING

All guidance is subject to change as per the Government requirements.

Please follows these simple yet effective steps and we will all keep safe.

Many thanks P.Chester
