I attended the 10 electric Club in Cullingworth in Bradford last week, where they race 10th off road electric cars, it’s a small Village Hall which can on hold twenty five drivers max this is for safety reasons.

The AKA GP was back again at HNMC one of UK leading dirt tracks and venues. The controlled tyre debate could roll on day and night but with all drivers on the same pattern it does lead to closer racing and driver ability will show through. The Club had put in a lot of effort to get the track ready for this event and it was well received.

The 4th and final round of the Action Model Centre Supported Summer Shootout Series took place in Chesterfield, UK last weekend. The event was run as a 2-day GP with practice and initial qualifying on Saturday, followed by further qualifying and finals on Sunday.

Often known as “Mr Mendip” Tony Coles died earlier this year aged 80. Many who attended his funeral had been model car racers and friends of Tony through the forty year history of the Mendip model motor racing circuit.

The Masters of Foam event will be returning to Racing Arena Limburg in Netherlands 5/6 November 2016, this event has a strong english following and it was our very own Tim Wood who won the 10.5 Stock Class last year

PRO  on the road again to catch up with an old friend from the past and engage with probably the heart of club off-road racing over years in the West Midlands. many clubs have come and gone and provided great fun and racing in the region, and I'm sure many more will do in the future. This was my first club that I joined as  a very green but keen racer with my F1 Tamiya, but after many years of full size Motorcycle racing it was time to do something that was more relaxing. Little did I know what was to come in the future.
