The BRCA was formed some years ago and the 1/8th rallycross section is an integral part of the association. You will find 1/8th rallycross cars being raced across the country nearly every weekend of the year at BRCA Affiliated clubs
Which you can find elsewhere on the BRCA Website, however since 1983 the rallycross section has run a full season of race meetings from April to September, with 4 championships now in place the National Championship, The Clubman, The Junior and the Over 40s Championships.
All 1/8th rallycross cars are powered by 3.5cc nitro fuel powered engines so you are not only racing your model car against others, but you also get the smell and the noise of full size motor racing. So if that has wetted your appetite for having a go at rallycross, come along to one of the clubs or come to a national event where you can discover more information.
The section prides itself on being friendly and available to answer any questions that you might have.
Here are the dates and venues for the 2017 1/8th Rallycross season.
The weekend of September 3rd/4th was the 5th and final round of the BRCA 1/8th Rallycross nationals at the brilliant Slough track, with the last lot of vital championship points to play for everyone would have to bring their A-Game! A few changes to the track between the Ebuggy/Truggy nationals meant it would be a new challenge for every driver! And the track looked fantastic, credit to the whole team at Slough, the perfect venue for the final round of the 2016 nationals.
This weekend was the third round of the BRCA 1/8th Rallycross championship at the superb Herts Track. Despite some seriously testing weather the track was in top shape, well done to all the Herts team for you hard work.
This weekend saw the 2nd round of the BRCA National Rallycross championship at the superb Kent Model Car club track, near Maidstone. A great job by Matt and his team to get the facility looking great and in tip top condition!
