2019 LSOR EFRA Rep

Large Scale Off Road

Following Craig Orman’s appointment as the deputy chair of the Largescale section within EFRA the section is now looking within the lsor racing community for a temporary replacement to fill our position until our AGM this September when the post will be advertised again and voted upon by attendees at our section AGM.

Anyone who is interested should contact myself and populate this BRCA LSOR EFRA Rep Proposal Form and return it to me by the 1st February, they will be reviewed by the sections vice chairman, Craig and myself, and an announcement will be made during the Zenoah Challenge Cup weekend.

Typical duties of the EFRA rep during the period until our AGM and positions ratified at the main BRCA AGM are :-

Ensure our racers have all the information they need to decide about attending the EFRA events, know how to go about entering, obtaining the right licences, and be the liaison between our drivers, EFRA and the host club in terms of local information.
If you attend the EFRA race meeting it would be normal for you to take on the role of Team Manager so you’ll be representing the UK drivers in all discussions with the event organisers at the meeting and helping in any rule interpretation that’s required.
Collate, and submit any section proposals to EFRA following acceptance by the section and the BRCA executive.
Disseminate any EFRA Largescale proposals to the section committee and drivers for discussion and voting on to provide the sections position at the associated EFRA AGM.

On behalf of the section I welcome your application.

Peter Barnes
