Stock Cars section AGM 2016

It’s that time of year already, the BRCA AGM is almost upon us, Saturday 29th October 11.00 to 15.00. Venue is again the impressive British Motor museum at Gaydon make sure you come along to celebrate the seasons successes, choose the candidates to lead the section for the next 12 months and have your say on rules and new proposals.
The BRCA Exec’s have kindly given the Stock Cars section permission to run our AGM the day before the Main BRCA AGM, as most of you know this is due to the clash on the Sunday with the climax of the Brisca F1 calendar the fight for the Shoot Out championship and coveted silver roof which many of the Stock Cars section would not miss. Use the instructions on the BRCA website for the Sunday just make sure it’s the Saturday you turn up. Those not attending Belle Vue on Sunday are more than welcome to attend the Main BRCA AGM. Most of the official roles for the Stock Cars Section are up for renewal so please come with an open mind and be prepared to take on a role if you can. We cannot continue to be part of the BRCA without the required officials and no volunteers equals no section and no racing. The proposals form can be downloaded from the BRCA web site just look for the AGM article and follow the link the instructions are included. For the Stock Cars section 1/12th and 1/8th the deadline for any proposals to have been sent in is different to that quoted on the instructions, the Section has agreed a deadline of 2 weeks before the Saturday
AGM so if they have not been received before Saturday 15th October they will not be included at the AGM.
Please hand in or send completed proposal forms to 1/12th proposals can be given or sent to Allan Innes  The forms will need to be scanned and emailed to show Proposer and seconder’s signatures. If you need to send by post request a postal address by email to New rules for this year means that the BRCA don’t publish home address info for elected officials. If using the postal method make sure you send your completed proposal form in plenty of time to meet the deadline. The full list of proposals received will be posted on the BRCA website before the AGM.
See you at the BMM Gaydon on the 29th
