Based at Cofton Hackett Village Hall, the club offers an enjoyable and accessible environment for drivers of all levels, making it one of the most long-standing and community-focused RC clubs in the area.
Indoor Touring Car Racing at Its Purest
The club specialises in indoor on-road racing, running 1/10th touring cars on a tight and technical layout that rewards accuracy, consistency, and smart racecraft. Along with progressively changing grip levels. Whether you’re a seasoned racer looking for a challenge or a newcomer wanting to learn the ropes, the club’s layout provides the perfect blend of fun and competitive driving.

Proudly Run by Bob and Jane
The heart of the club lies with its dedicated organisers, Bob and Jane, who have kept racing alive week after week for over three decades. Their passion, reliability, and friendliness have created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that keeps racers returning year after year.
Friday Evenings: A Weekly Racing Tradition
Racing takes place every Friday evening from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at:
Cofton Hackett Village Hall
Barnt Green Road
Cofton Hackett
B45 8NB
Drivers gather to set up, tune their cars, race, and enjoy a sociable evening of RC fun. The club’s accessible hours and friendly format make it an ideal way to end the working week.
Affordable Racing for Everyone
With an entry fee of just £9, the club remains one of the most affordable RC racing venues in the region. The low cost ensures that newcomers, families, and long-term members alike can enjoy quality racing without the expense often associated with the hobby.
Manual Lap Counting – A Classic Touch
In a world dominated by electronic timing systems, North Worcestershire Model Car Club proudly maintains a traditional approach:
Laps are counted manually with a stopwatch, pen, and paper.
This hands-on method adds a nostalgic charm and reinforces the club’s grassroots spirit, ensuring every lap is recorded with attention and care.

A Community Built on Passion
With its friendly leadership, technical track, affordable racing, and decades of history, North Worcestershire Model Car Club continues to be a cherished part of the local RC scene. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, enjoy relaxed competitive racing, or simply join a supportive community, the club always has room on the grid for new drivers.
I even met the three Jason's, that were all dressed in the same attire. What team work is all about (sadly they wouldn't pose for a photo)
Important Note
The club is popular with a small area for pitting, and the meetings do get full quickly so ensure you arrive early to secure your spot!
Get out there, keep supporting your clubs and keep racing!
