The club has been running since the early 1980s' and promotes events mainly around the various 1/10th Electric classes. We normally have a weekly club night - during the winter (Sept - April) indoors on carpet on road racing and during the summer (April - Sept) outdoors with 1/10th electric buggy racing. We also run a winter series at the local sports centre and this attracts entrants from all over the country and is carpet racing for on road cars. We also aim to run an indoor meeting for off road (on carpet) buggies as a memorial to our past founding member and chairman Colin Sawyer. Having said all that during 2025 we lost both our indoor and outdoor club night venues and continue to search for alternative venues around Chippenham.
