12th Circuit

For the second round of this years BRCA 4wd On-road Championship it was down to the Eastbourne circuit near Hailsham in Southern England in some rather warm conditions.

In qualifying it was Tony Broad with his X-Ray X-4 who took the first two round of qualifying from Jack Collins with a  Schumacher Mi8 with Mason Weston in third with another Mi8.

Round two and it was Jack from Tony, so all to play for going into the third round, with Dan Moorey's Yokomo in third. The third round went the way of Tony, to secure pole position from Jack, and Morgan Williams took third in round to line-up fourth on the grid behind Dan.


In the finals, it was Tony who swept all three legs of the final for the overall win. Behind him, it was Jack taking second in all three legs for the runner-up spot and was also the top Under 17 driver in the class, with Dan in third with a brace of thrird place finishes.

It was the 13.5 defending champion, Zak Findlay with his X-Ray X-4, who struck first - taking the first round Tq, from Ben Moorey's Awesomatix. Round two went the way of Ben, with Schumacher's Ollie Payne bouncing back from a round one dq to take second with Zak third. It was Ollie who took round three from Zak and Schumacher's Billy Fletcher. This gave a three way tie on points for Tq between Zak, Ben and Ollie, and the tie-break went in favour of Ben over Zak and Ollie.


The first two legs went the way of Ollie from Ben, with Zak third in the first and Billy third in the second. The third leg saw a win for Ben from Billy with Zak and Ollie finishing someway down the order. This all meant that Ollie was the overall winner from Ben and Billy.

Qualifying saw defending champion Kyle Branson, with his X-Ray X-4, take a clean sweep in qualifying taking all three rounds. Lining up behind him, with a second and third and by virtue of the tie-break, was fellow X-Ray runner Harley Eldridge with Schmacmer's Zak Smith in third with his Mi8.


In the finals, it went as per qualifying, with Kyle taking the cake, plate and cherry on top by taking all three legs of the final for the overall win. Behind him it was Harley in the runner-up spot with three seconds and third on the podium went to Zak with three thirds.
